I know the sorrow and aches in your heart for Kitai. I have had them many times after losing my best friend or little companion. Which is the reason I will probably not have one again. I just can’t stand the heartaches of losing them.

Thank you Steve. I’m sorry you also know the pain of losing a loved one. I am tempted to say I don’t want to go through that pain again but truly believe that part of Kitai’s legacy will be that his leaving will allow me to save another life from a shelter someday.

Stacie I started to cry when I read about the passing of your lovely dog. I too lost a dog this year and know how you feel.
I’m not to good at getting things down in writing but your story moved me.
